Grant Thornton the selection process

Grant Thornton Selection Process

When you’re looking for a new job, people often love to share their thoughts on what you should do. Employers are quick to offer their thoughts too – usually along the lines of "choose us".

At Grant Thornton, we do things differently. We want you to get to know us, understand what we can offer you, and listen to what others have to say about our firm. Then you’ll know if our roles fit with what you’re looking for. That’s our advice to you.

If you do decide to apply – and we’d love you to consider our firm – then here are a few hints to help make the process as smooth as possible.

Get to know us

This is vital first step. Do your research on us – explore our website, Facebook and LinkedIn page. Have a look at what we do, and our approach to business. Also, if you happen to see us at a career fair make sure to speak to our representatives to ask any questions you might have.

Before you apply, make sure you know which of our service lines interest you. Our student & graduates programs are designed to grow your skills, so don’t be afraid to try something a little different from what you might have studied at university.

Search for your dream role

Have a look at the positions that are currently on offer at our firm by visiting our job openings board. This displays all student and graduate roles currently available across our departments and service lines.

Apply for a job opening

Once you find a job that looks like a good fit, you can apply for it directly from our website or you can send your CV to hilal.baltaci@tr.gt.com. We advise that you include the job title and reference code for the position for which you are interested to apply.

Receiving your CV

Shortly after we receive your CV we will contact you to let you know about the next steps of our selection process.

Meet our People & Culture team

If your application and results meets the requirements of the role, our People & Culture team will call you to arrange interview times.

Interviews

The next step is for you to meet our people. This could include interviews with Service Line / Department Partners, team members and our People & Culture representatives.

These interviews will be a chance for us to learn more about your previous experiences, technical skills and interests, and to provide an opportunity for you to get to know us, the culture at Grant Thornton and the requirements of the role. If the role requires fluency in English, part of your interviews will be in English.

Receive an offer

After we complete these steps we will extend an offer of employment. Congratulations!

Once you accept our offer, a member of our People & Culture team will provide you with an overview of your induction and first few days with us.

Starting your new career

From day one, we'll ensure that you have the tools you need for a successful and meaningful career at Grant Thornton. You will receive a comprehensive induction, and you will receive counceling from the manager of your team.
